Need help with decision on new build!

Here is an update on my new build with pain in the rear problems with MB.
Motherboard:
-Is not responsive to CMOS changes.
-Some times will recognize HD, sometimes not.
-many BSODs
-Cannot reflash BIOS
_and on and on.
With the help of two local IT techs there is a consensus that the MB has got to go. I have decided to request RMA. But I am really sour on Gigabyte board now. So here is my question. What are your recommendations for a MB that most probably will play with the other parts of the system as noted below.
OR
Give me a compelling reason to not ditch Gygabyte. But I must admit that I probably will not be too attentive to that idea.

It was probably just a really dead/bad motherboard, DOAs happen every now and then. I particularly like xfx, evga and asus motherboards.

This is a pretty good replacement, and it's a pretty awesome price. It'll fit fine with your other components.

I cannot find this board on Asus site. Where else would I find memory lists that this board likes? or other incompatabilities? I am tired of screwing with this build and need to make a decision but don't want to have to RMA anything else.
