Just built a pc
Windows XP pro
My Pc so far


Case........39.95
Power supply....included
floppy drive......free
hard drive.....bought it a year ago
processor.....60$
Video card......pulled out of a computer in the shed
cd rom..........pulled out of a computer in the shed
ram.......30$
motherboard........free
keyboard.....pulled out of a computer in the shed
mouse......pulled out of a computer in the shed


Processor....Prescott Pentium 4 3.0
Ram...........PC 3200.....bus speed matched the ram speed.....so ram runs in dual mode 1.5 GIg
Hard drive 160 GB Eide
Video 64 MB geforce AGP 8
case has 6 USB ports, 2 firewire (2 USB are in front)
Motherboard ECS 865PE-A (2.0) (2004)
Power supply 600w
Dvd rom 16x10x40

I have sound for DVD movies and Cd audio (cds etc) but NO sound for windows items....such as pinball, hearts, any windows sound....

All drivers are installed...only conflict is a usb driver....ANY suggestions
