At the moment, it seems the TX model of the Corsair psu's are the way to go, since they can support the newest video cards.

Why are the older models unable to support the newer video cards?
What makes the TX model different?

The TX model has an 8-pin connector that's needed for the GTX200 series cards. You can make the HX work with an adapter though. iirc
