9800 question

Would a 9800GTX SLI with a 9800GTX+? I heard they can because of the same chipset but not quite sure.

my 9800GTX
gpu clock 740
memory clock 2280

Targetted 9800GTX+
gpu clock 778
memory clock 2246

Both are factory overclocked

edit: over/underclocked my gpu to exactly what the targetted gpu now is, (778 and 1123 effective).
