Hey guys, just wondering if this would be a logical mod.

The additional fans:
PCI Slot fan (http://www.thermaltake.com.au/Products/Accessory/A2426/PCISlotBlueLEDFan.aspx) which is at the bottom blowing cool air up into the graphics card
120mm fan (http://www.thermaltake.com.au/Products/Accessory/A201620172018/SmartCaseFanLED.aspx) providing an additional intake boost, and the nagging family want the "whole" front of the armor+ blue, instead of just the bottom :(.

Purely just experimentation, not quite sure if this is going to even do anything to the cooling and air circulation since there's already a massive 230mm spinning over 5000rpm on all of it, but I have grown a liking to blue LEDs. Anyone have personal experience with these items, or able to give me feedback on my planned setup?

Got them, stuck em in, not much of a difference but its still okay. Changed the pci cooling slot to 7V from 6V, in terms of noise difference, nothings changed which is excellent considering two fans were put in. Temperature wise my gpu has been stopped at 62C under load, and the cpu at 50C. System itself remains pretty much the same. Without these two fans, it was around 65C gpu and 55C cpu.

Are you overclocking at all?

I think those temps are a little high.

My gpu runs 42C at idle, and 48C while gaming

My cpu runs 58C under full load (100%) using both OCCT and Everest Ultimate.

Both of mine are overclocked too.

Nothing is overclocked, except the gpu which is stock. Yea, using the xfx ESA software on the mobo, full stress tests bring it up to around 62C for the gpu, but most of the time the games I play it hovers at around 53-55C fullscreen, and idles at 50C. The cpu is firmly running better with these two fans.

before:
idle: ~40C
load: ~50C

after:
idle: ~31C
load: 40-48C
