my first time to build a computer any comments pls.

Processor - Q6600 (combo deal with corsair 620HX)
PSU - corsair 620HX

Video card - EVGA Nvdia 8800GTS 512mb
Hard drive - Western digital caviar SE 16 640gb
optical drive - Asus DRW - 2014L1T w/ Light S
CPU cooler - Zalman 9500A
RAM - Corsair Twin 2X2048 - 6400
OS ----- windows XP home SP2 (from my old computer )

So which motherboard 1) ASUS P5K pro , 2) ABIT 35 pro 3) ASUS P5Q pro

That build will make your friends very jealous. :D

All of those motherboards are great. I think I would go for the P5Q since its the newer P45 chipset. You could also go with a little faster ram with the P5Q.

Excelent choices.

Perfect build, everything has the best ratio of performance/dollar. You'll need a case to stick all your stuff in, as well as a monitor to view it and mouse and keyboard too. But if you have those already then it's all good, just make sure everything fits into your case.

Spend a bit extra and you'll graphically last a lot longer.

my uncle gave me a free thermaltake Xaser III V1000D because he's getting a new fulltower xaser VI ,do you think it will fit in this case?
