EDIT: i believe they are both AGP

i recently aquired some gfx cards and snd cards from my aunts house while moving her stuff around. they belonged to her ex so she gave them to me.(they dont look broken)
based on their SN's they are...
64MB NVIDIA GeForce2 MX400 AGP Video Card w/ DVI and TV Out
NVIDIA NV 38 256 MB (Corvette2) R0

i have 2 questions... first,, if i plug them into my pci slot and they are broken, will they harm my pc?
second, how would i go about testing them... step by step..

1. No. :)
2. If you download nTune, then you can run a stress test of the GFX cards for a set amount of time. Run this for a few hours, and this should give you a good idea if they are working or not.
