This morning on my "new build", I had an email from Bank of America saying my "online account had been blocked" and it provided a "link" to, I presume, enter data and correct the situation. Of course I did not open the link; particularly since I have NO account with B of A.
Over the last several weeks, there were numerous multiple posts from different individuals, mainly on the "wowgold" topic, whatever that is/was; the moderators banned the writers. Also, my posts for the last week to the forum have been "lengthy" keeping me online with the forum for long time periods.
One hears all kinds of things about "opening unknown links", id theft, malicious software damage, etc.. Maybe some forum users new systems lack protection, etc.; just thought it best to mention this. I do have other details I can provide if requested; can also transmit the B/A email that looks absolutely authentic!! zburns
