I'm in the process of building a gaming computer, and I need some suggestions for a mouse and keyboard, im going to be doing gaming, and I would like for them to be wireless. I'm not sure what good mice and keyboards are, so i need suggestions.

As a general rule, a wireless kb and mouse aren't very reliable for gaming. There's always that inconvienent moment of lag with wireless.

well, I dont plan to use the keyboard for gaming, i got a nostromo speedpad for that, but what about the mouse?

I guess if you're playing single player games it doesn't matter, but if I'm playing with my Clan online I don't want to loose the match because my mouse lost connection for a split second. Wired is just more reliable.

No problem. If you're interested in a nice gaming mouse, Logitech has several models. I personally use the MX518.

sweet, but ill stick with my mouse, i prefer larger mice, lots easier to hold onto when youre in a white-knuckle race on burnout :)

For gaming - Wired. Wireless products are generally not suited for gaming because of signal jitters and that notorious "running out of battery on a multi frag" situation.

Budget gaming for peripherals would be difficult to achieve as any mouse and keyboard around the $40 level would just be standard products, which are completely fine for any situation on the computer. But, if your specifically looking for mouse and keyboards that give you that little extra edge, try a few Logitech or Razer branded items.
