What is the name of the software that lets me 'look' but not interact with, another computer? Like for instance while I'm at work I can log on to this software and look at the activity that pops up back at home. Any help is appreciated. I've got a 13 yr old so you get the idea. Thanks

I've heard of such software, but don't know anything about it. I think you're thinking of something like iSpyNow.

Maybe but it doesn't ring a bell. A place I used to work at had some type of software installed on every one of their PCs.
At the task bar, I seem to remember there being a small round symbol that resembles an eye and it would change to a different color thus letting upper management 'see' what the perp was surfing to. It is a very subtle change and who looks at their task bar regularly? Well, thanks anyhow.

I think you are looking for VNC - it does exactly what you want. A client runs on the PC you want to look at, and you can view what the person using that computer is doing from elsewhere.

It is a very good program, and I used to use it a lot (I worked as a system admin at a school - checking up on which kids were trying to hack the system :)). With VNC, you can also take control of the other PC if you want to, but its best used for just looking.

Here is their website: http://www.realvnc.com/
