Soooo, this is my first build. I have already purchased a case (Aspire Qpack2), better Thermaltake case fans, and have an optical drive. I have 300 dollars outside of the bank that's burning a whole in my pocket, and plan on buying a monitor and speakers-as this is a slow build and I need a new monitor for my current computer right now anyways.

Here is my monitor of choice...

I'm pretty set on that monitor, but suggestions are always welcome....

Speakers...

The speakers wont work on my current pc I believe (6 channel mobo?)...but I just want to know that they will work on the mATX mobo that I buy in the not so distant future...would this mobo work with these speakers?

As always, other suggestions are appreciated and if you know anything regarding compatibility, etc...of these components...I'd be glad to know.

That's a nice monitor. Here's another great monitor just to give you something else to consider.

Thank you. I just ordered the Acer and some cheap and nice logitech x-530s. That monitor is nice also, but a bit over my budget to buy both a monitor and speakers for <300. I ended up buying speakers that will work with my current system, so it's all good....
