What Nvidia video card would you suggest for the following old motherboard and processor? (That is, if I get it to work again by replacing the power supply that appears to have burned out.)

Intel D845PEBT2 478 Intel 845PE ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Intel Pentium 4 2.4B Northwood 2.4GHz Socket 478 Single-Core Processor Model BX80532PE2400D - Retail

Right now I have:

ASUS V9280TD/128MB GeForce4 Ti4200 128MB 256-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail

With an AGP video card you'll be rather limited. I decent option would be the 7600GS. The 7600GT would be better, but they're nearly impossible to find. I once had the 6600GT and could play Call of Duty UO with no problems at all. If you're interested in ATI cards, the Radeon 9550 would be ok.

Are these good enough to play Call of Duty 4?

They might play it at very low settings, but it would struggle. Don't know for sure if it would be enjoyable.

I checked on Ebay and saw a 7800GS AGP which would be great, but the bid is up to $130.

Well, I just went back to Ebay and found a 7800GS for $46. Thats a good deal, check it out.

What about this or similar?

SAPPHIRE 1008 Radeon X1550 128MB 64-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X CrossFire Supported Video Card - OEM

X1650? X1600 better than 9550?

Or even this one?

SAPPHIRE 100217L Radeon HD 2600PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 8X HDCP Ready Video Card - Retail

Not sure if GDDR2 works with DDR...

The 2600Pro is the best of that bunch. Plus it opens you up to DirectX10.

So it will work? Wasn't sure if there was a compatibility problem with my motherboard at DDR and video card GDDR-2.

This is the only type video card you can use with that motherboard.

So no, the 2600 Pro will not work. After searching a little deeper, you really don't have many options for a compatible video card.

Sorry to say, but you want to start looking into a new system.
