So I recently purchased the Zalman CNPS9500 LED to use for cooling my AMD X2 4200+. After an hour of trying to figure out how to install it without any success I am led to believe that this model of the Zalman is not compatible with MSI K9N SLI Platinum.

Reason being the motherboards retension frame around the processor socket requires a lever to hold down the heatsink in place.

Thinking that maybe the packaging was done incorrectly I browsed through the Zalman website and found out that the Zalman CNPS9500 LED is supposed to come with a lever to hold down the heatsink:

What's weird though is that on Newegg, where I purchased the heatsink from, that same model Zalman does not bring it:

After doing some more research I did notice that there is another version of the same heat sink called Zalman CNPS9500 AM2. If you look at the items that come in the packaging you will notice it comes with a One(1)Lever to go along with the One(1) Clip:

and
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118004

I just wanted to give those people looking into buying the MSI K9N SLI Platinum MoBo along with the Zalman CNPS9500 LED a word of caution. Now I'm not too sure of what I should do with the heatsink. Any ideas???

Edit: The first link I provided to the Zalman website was not a US link.

The US packaging is exactly how it is shown in Newegg. So neither of them bring the lever needed. Still strange seeing as how the heatsink is suppose to support all AMD X2 motherboards.
