I´ve upgraded my PC now, this is it:

Graphics-Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 2900 GT

Motherboard: MSI K9A2 Platinum AMD 790FX - 2600 Mhz

Processor: AMD DUAL-CORE 6400+

Memory: Corsair TWIN DDR2 6400 - 800 Mhz - 2 GB

System-Disk - Samsung IDE - SSD-Disk 8 GB

Disk 2 - 500 GB Samsung S-ata

Disk 3 - 500 GB Samsung S-ata

Sound-Card: Creative something

What do you think of my computer?

The system-start and search-time does´nt go faster if i Raid my other disks?
Is it a noticable difference if i buy 1 GB memory? (i dont want Vista or 64-windows)

Im interested of your opinion, i love to geek around sometimes

Your computer looks great!

RAID does not make much of a performance difference in normal use. I think it's rather fallen out of favor as something to juice the computer with. If you have a disk heavy situation then it would make a difference. Instead, you might consider a fast hard drive like a Raptor 10,000rpm to use as the C: drive, although it might be noisy.

If you have 2GB of RAM then that's sufficient for most uses, although with RAM prices so crazy low I've maxed out every computer I have.

I have a Raptor 10,000 rpm now, but im selling it! It didnt make much difference anyway, and now it´s outdated.

Theres already a 15,000 rpm-disk, and the one i´ve got is even faster! :)

Yeah, the SSD drives are very fast, but also very expensive.
