Getting closer to being done with my first build. Since this is my first build, I don't know if I have a motherboard problem or if something else needs to be configured.

I have a Abit IP35 PRO. I'm having a problem with my PNY NVS400 VCQ440NVS-PCIEX16-PB Quad Card working in the PCI-E x16 slot. The monitor gets no signal in the X16 slot.

When I move the card to the PCI x4 slot, the computer booted and the monitor worked. I then loaded the motherboard drivers and video card drivers (loaded the X64 drivers). Then I installed Windows x64 Pro.

I powered everything down and moved the video card to the X16 slot. The PC boots, but the display is not working. There is no signal to the display. One dark screen.

I'm stumped. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

By the way, the quad card came with VGA connections. Is there a big improvement going with digital connections? If so, I would need to get a DMS-59 to Dual DVI-I cable.
