hard disk problem data recovery

Today my hard disk got crash it was placed out side for testing but when it replugged it smoked and was not able to boot. I have an important document in it so, please help me to find the way to recover my data.

First of all, no advertising please.

Secondly, it sounds as if your HD might be screwed. You could try putting it in a ziplock bag with some tissues, then leaving it in the freezer overnight. I have used this trick before, as it contracts the metal and moves the head reader just far enough away from the disk to allow it to run for a few minutes, which might be long enough for you to recover your files.
