First boot problemo

Quite possibly the saddest thing ever : ( Wait for UPS to deliver my parts for three long days and get no first boot. Everything in the case runs when i start it up, yet I get a "no signal" on my monitor. All the fans are running fine, no beeps, no odd noises, just no information on my screen. Need help!

Go back and in and make sure the video card is installed properly and has the appropriate power connector to it (depending on which video card u have).

On my first boot, I also had no signal. It turned out that I just needed to press a certain button on the monitor to change it from DVI to something. (i'm not sitting in front of my pc so I'm not sure exactly).
