As I mentioned before, we've got optical drives covered, monitor, sound, etc., just looking to build the system. Would appreciate any advice with the current total as well as any suggested upgrades. Thanks.

This is our basic recommendations on a build in that price range. An Intel based system is much more efficient, as well as a better performer.
