Hello all:
New to Windows XP, I use to run Windows 98, and I had a Nortons system works program that optimized and maintained the 98 OS. Does XP need such a program for maintenance?

Hey Col.
I actually skipped Win 98. Jumped from Win 95 to XP, so I don't have any memories of 98. However, I used an XP system for about 6 years. There are many system tools for system scan, defrag, chk dsk, and other utilities. You could get by without any 3rd party utilites, afaik.
*edit* (afaik = as far as I know) That's for all of you that are not as up-to-date as me. :D

If you want, Norton System Works is still available for XP. :)
