Zone Alarm firewall vs. XP firewall

Hello everyone:

I can remember reading about down loading Zone alarm in the PC build instructions somewhere.


Question is........Should I just use the firewall that is incorporated in windows XP, or should I download zonealarm. Which do you guys thgink is best?

Zone Alarm is much better than the standard XP firewall, so if you want a proper firewall then this is the one to get.

However, most "Internet Security" packages e.g. Norton Internet Security, Bitdefender Internet Security etc. come with a firewall as well, and these are ususally quite good. I use the Bitdefender package at the moment, and it works very well.

Of course, the best way to firewall your computer is to get a router.
