hi,

i've already built my computer and used the p35 chipset, but i was just wondering what's a main difference between: P35, 650i, 750i, etc. chipsets?

i'm pretty sure that p35 is made for intel but i dont really know which to choose if i decide to build again later.

Hey Phil.

I don't know a lot of the technical stuff, but the P35 (and x38/x48)are the Intel designs, and the 680i, 750i, 780i et al are the Nvidia designs.

P35 (and x38/x48) do not support SLI, only crossfire.
The others do support SLI. That doesn't mean you must have SLI in them.

thats the basics as I understand them :)
