SATA Drives

The pc I'm building is using an XFX 780i motherboard in a CoolerMaster Stacker 830SE case, for which I've purchased a crossflow fan. However, the fan blocks access to SATA ports 1 and 2 on this particular motherboard. Do I have to use ports 1 and 2 for my drives (1 HD, one DVD ROM), or can I use any of the other 4 SATA ports which are not blocked?

You should be able to use the other SATA ports with no ill effects. :)
