Is Zipzoomfly a reputable seller? (I just have no idea.)

Yes, very reputable.
I usually find their prices to be equal to or better than Newegg, and they typically don't charge for shipping. When I bought the components for my pc, I bought 70% of it from Zip. They also didn't charge me tax. The only downside was that shipping took about 6 days, but I was ok with that.
One more thing. I had a bad stick of Corsair ram, and Zip handled it with no hassle. I found their customer service to be excellent.

Pfff Ricky, mentioning tax is sort of a local issue since it is totally relevant to where you live.
Case in point Zip does charge me tax.
Other than that though they do seem to be a reputable site. You can always do a better business bureau search if you ever question a sites quality. You can also just do a search for them on google with "reviews" in the search and I am sure you will get many that way as well.

I just decided to build my own PC Friday (4/11) and WOW, what a stroke of luck to find this website! Kudos to Rob, the site is awesome! I was feeling overwhelmed but MySuperPC helped me get my thoughts organized.
This E8400 processor is exactly the one I was looking at and look, now Zipzoomfly has dropped the price to $208.80

I am still floundering over what motherboard to use. Then I found this bundle...

Any thoughts on that would be appreciated.
I can't say enough thanks to Rob already and I have only started. I'm guessing I'll be here on these boards buggin' a lot of people long before I get done. Look out Rob, I'm planning on building a SUPER-DUPER PC! :D
Cheers,

Well I cannot speak to the quality of that motherboard in the least. I will say however that it seems to be a "next gen" motherboard.
By that I mean it uses ddr3 as its standard ram which is fine if you have the money to spend and are willing to use it. It also uses a 38 northside chip instead of a 35. As I said I cannot speak to these things on a technical level I am only trying to point them out as things to be aware of.
As an aside I hear horrible things about tigerdirect, and would not personally deal with them because of the things I have heard. So unless you really want that game, you could probably find the parts seperatly at about the same price or cheaper.

I agree with Shyster. I'm not sure the X38 motherboard is all its cracked up to be. A good P35 is more versatile and very upgradeable, not to mention a lot more reasonably priced.
