Sooo the drama continues.. I got my half built computer back from the guy who said he would test the board and the CPU for free.
Turns out that the initial problem I described was due to a crappy power supply. So I ordered a new one, and it now posts fine and will even go into the bios.
But now when i'm trying to configure the settings, it won't recognize the two IDE disc drives I've installed.
Which is weird because there is a message after the post, that lists both drive models, but when I go into the bios the ide configuration won't recognize anything.
hmm maybe I need to re-read Rob's instructions..
any ideas?
