XP or Vista

Is there any reason to build a new system with Vista? I've used Vista on a new Gateway, and it seems to be not as stable as XP. It freezes, blue screen, etc. I have never had any problems with XP.

There's no compelling reason to go to Windows Vista. In fact, at these early stages, it's not surprising to find out it's problematical.

I would think that these problems you are experiancing will be fixed by updates from microsoft.

Just as a note:
I'm going to build my PC with Windows Vista Ultimate but by the time I have the money saved up the two years of delayed acquisition may have already passed.
