reformat help?

how do i reformat my computer i built it myself btw i tried just putting in the OS cd but i end up with 2 OS???

If you put in the Operating System cd, you should be given an option to delete the partition that the OS is installed on - do this until your HD is empty, then format the remaining space and re-install the OS, if you want to. :)
