I would like to give special thanks to Jamie for helping finalize my component choices. And to Jamie, Chunky and Shyster for getting me through my first boot, that was a long night, but my knights in shining armor saved me. Thank you very much! Thanks Wise Monkey and Ricky Tick for all your advice and help. And not to forget Rob this is a wonderful site! Thank you to pb126 for giving me the link to buy my wolfdale when NE was out if them.

Let me tell you, if this great group of Guys can get this Grandma to build her own computer, they can help you!
Thank you all so very much!

It's good to see someone who got a working P5KC! My 2nd board is still working after nearly a month (knock on wood). Congratulations!

Congrats Min,

Glad I was able to help.

By the way I am totally jealous of your monitor, where did you get it and was it on sale?

I got it from Dell, it was not on sale but had a $40.00 Rebate. I may give it to my Husband if I can't figure out why all my photos look stretched out and distorted, I only notice it on pictures I load from my camera. I have not loaded any pictures on my new computer yet, it might make some difference...I hope.

update:
I just loaded over 7000 photos and they never looked better. I guess I will have to get the Hubby his own monitor now, I'm keeping this one.

I bought my 226BW from Dell too with the $40 rebate. Plus, as a Dell Preferred Customer I was able to pay for it over 12 months with no interest.
