cant install windows

hi
i installed a new mobo cpu and ram into my comp
everything worked fine until i was installing ms windows
i set all the slave and master settings correctly
and in bios i set cdrom to the number 1 boot device
it wouldt allow me to set all 3 to cdrom
so when i install ms office it goes really slow but ti works
howeve after it reboots the first time it does what it just did over an dover and over
plz help

wait up a sec are you installing ms office or the windows OS 98, 2000 ,XP

Uh, you only need to set the first boot device to be CD, otherwise how is it going to find the HD?
