Hay guys what a good TV tuner / Video capture card to buy ?

I've seen several requests, all basically the same, 'what TV card should I get', with no response.

So here is 'my' response.

It's not as simple as a card, you'll need software, also.

I suggest you try searching for a HTPC(Home Theater PC) site. There are several that keep up with all the latest cards and software. You'll find all the guidance and recommendations you could desire

I WILL say GO FOR IT!!!
A PVR(Personal Video Recorder) setup is 100 times better than TIVO.

I've had mine for over a year and am very happy with it. I NEVER miss a favorite show, and I no longer get upset with people who call when my favorite TV show is on.

I'm using a NVIDIA Dual TV card(discontinued) and Snapstream's 'Beyond TV' software.
