Hey Rob,

I can't help but keep thinking that somewhere in your guide/website that it states that since AMD Processors are wired differently that they run at lower GHz readings. So AMD labels there products with 4000+ 5000+ ect. and the 4000+ usually equals about a 4.0 GHz processor.

The question is:

Is it true that a 4000+ AMD Processor would equal a 4.0 GHz Intel processor, and a 5000+ AMD Processor would equal a 5.0 GHz Intel Processor or a 3500+ AMD Processor would = a 3.5 GHz Intel Processor and so on?

Yes, that's right. I believe AMD actually refers to these as model numbers. The two processor types use different architectures. The AMD processors will perform as well at a lower clock speed. So AMD uses the model numbers to identify the comparable AMD processor.

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure that you said that in the website somewhere.
