i got the os installed and my drivers and absolutley nothing else. what else are my must haves??? i think i need rivatuner for my gpu to set the fan and some virus spyware software. i investing a good chuck of money in this comp and want to make sure everything is alllllll goood. :D

Orthos or Prime95 for stress testing. Don't have the links handy.

Some good anti-virus is NOD32 if you want to pay, or AVG which is free - both are very good.

Word processing? I have Office 2007 on my PC and Open Office on my laptop - OO is free too.

I'd recommend getting VLC for playing any videos you want, as well as your own choice of music software e.g. winamp, wmp

what is nod32 and vlc?? also i dwnlded cpu temp and cpuid. cpu cores are at 44 and 39 got 3 fans set to med and one low and af7 just does whatever. these temps ok???
