XP Pro vs. XP Home ??

I'll hopefully be trying to start my first build in 2-3 weeks & I need
some thoughts on XP Pro vs. XP Home edition. I stopped by a local
shop this past Saturday & asked the owner about my selections &
he said it was all good & then asked me which OS I wanted to use;
I told him XP Pro & he told me I could use XP Home edition & save
some considerable dollars; he said the features I'd lose would be
almost unnoticable since this will be mainly a gaming computer.
Any thoughts or comments will be helpful.

XP Pro has a few more features, but nothing really essential - its mostly related to business stuff.

As far as i can see, no difference whatsoever and i run both Home and Pro, maybe a tad more features for those of us more business inclined.

Get Home.

Yes, maybe usage wise they may be very similar; but I think the pro version may be more secure --which may be desirable during internet use-
