Nice find - seems like the 9300 is a demon overclocker. :)

I'm quite surprised at some of the results there though i.e. that the E6750 performs better than the Phenom X4s on a few of the tests... :/

Q9450 for $316 :O

Thats probably the one to go for because of the 12M cache, as opposed to the 6M in the 9300.

i wouldnt count on it if u look at the e8400 like i just bought it says 183 but i paid 215 on zipzoomfly while on newegg it is 225.

True, but as soon as the penryn comes out it is very likely that the wolfdale, e8400, will drop closer to its list price of 183. They are only selling at a higher price because there is currently a greater demand than supply, so to reduce damand to those who want it the most, they pay extra.

So in conclusion, yes the Q9450 will be more expensive than MSRP the first few months it is out, but after that it should go to its MSRP amount.
