Ok, I am planning to buy and build my Media Center PC. However considering the fact that my mom is the kind of mom that is like "You buy all this stuff now and you rarely (almost every 2-3months) get anything to go along with it later" So I am buying everything I will need for... Well hopefully until the computer dies.

Please note that this is an Estimate I bet I could find cheaper prices for each item at multiple sites and I am just PLANNING so I make updates to my estimates every so often.

Notes:
I am not going to change the amount or where my RAM is from however I may be willing to change th type of PC2 and I noticed that 8000 is 2 times as much as PC26400 please explain the difference between these two and tell me what is better.

Please suggest sites that would sell these for cheaper.

Please suggest some good video editing software too!

I am getting a projector and a monitor because the monitor is for stuff like doing homework ect. the tedious things. The projector is for playing games on I will use the projecter for my Xbox 360 and the pc and my yet to come Nintendo wii. and watching movies ect.

So lastly is $5,600 a good or too high price for a media center pc?

Actually look through the list of items before posting your opinion!

Wow, that's some PC. That's a lot of money, but not out-of-line with prices I typically see for "ultimate" rigs.

Ok good! cause I just want to make sure I'm in the average range for a computer like that. considering I can't make any upgrades for a long time from purchase date
