hi,

I have the E6750 intel 2.66Ghz processor and I was testing out overclocking on it using the AI Booster program that came with the MOBO, anyways I tried to overclock it to 3.2Ghz to see what happens but it couldn't handle it and restarted so i set it back to default and everything is fine.

I was just wondering, is it possible for me to overclock it from 2.66ghz to 3.0Ghz without problems?

-E6750 2.66GHz processor
- P5K-E MOBO
- 520 corsair power supply

A lot of poeple claim to get it to 3.0 or 3.2 on stock volts.

I'm running at 2.9 and undervolting slightly (same CPU, different MB). 3.2 wasn't stable on my system at stock voltage but I didn't try increasing voltage to get it stable. At this point I don't need to OC more.

Mine is running at 3.2 on stock voltage with no problems whatsoever. Plus, with the Arctic Freezer 7 CPU fan, it idles at 18C. :D
