Jamie, I think you said you have the P182, right? Or if anyone else has it, maybe you can answer this for me ... How can you install an external 3.5 device? The bay completely covers the mounting area where you would screw the device in place. Without being able to mount the device with screws, it just slides back and forth in the bay.

Ah, got it. The drive rails. I looked through the instructions forever it felt like :-)

Yes, well I thought I had. Now I have no clue how to get them to fit in. I've tried attaching the rails the way the instructions said, and a million other ways, but they just don't work. Same for both the external 3.5 and a 5.25 DVD. Anyone have any insight on this?

I had the rails screwed into the wrong holes on the drive when I first tried installing. This is a decent guide...
