compatibility

I am very interested in puting together a good qualtiy multi-media pc.
I have a very good sound card,video card, two dvd writers and three hard drives in my present pc. They are reletivly new and I dont want to just junk them. So, to whom do I ask the question about their comapatibility with a new high quality pc that I will build using this excellent site.

OK, I'm not quite sure what you are asking here...

Are you wondering if your current components will be compatible with your new PC? If so, then you needn't worry - a vast majority of modern components are basically interchangeable.

Is your sound card PCI? What connections do your HDs hav i.e. SATA/IDE?
