I have the following:
Intel Core 2 quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHZ 2x4MB
Zalman CNPS9500 Fan
Asus-P5N-E-SLI LGA 775 Nvidia 650i SLI ATX Intel MoBo
eVGA GeForce 7600 GT 256MB DDR3
1GB, Ballistix 240 pin DIMM, DDR2 PC2-8500-Crucial 2 sticks
WDC SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 16 MB SATA
Antec Sonata III Mini Tower
Sony DRU840A 20x DVD Burner
22" Dell 2208WFP Monitor

All newly built.
Install brand new version Xp pro, sp1
Does any one know the order of installation for drivers?
Do I just get the LAN driver off the disk then install sp2 first.
Then try to install video, pci, buss, raid drivers from Asus after sp2?

Have done asus drivers first & seems to corrupt system.
Blue screen crashes -reinstall xp then corrupt system32\config\system, etc.

I have installed new formatted version xp x 3 and still end up with problems. Think it is the order of device installation & when to install sp2.
Any assist si welcome.

Use the LAN drivers to connect to the internet and download the latest drivers from the Asus website - the ones one disc are usually a few months old.
