building my first computer

Hi,there i want to build my new computer.I want a computer where i can surf the internet,burn music and movies,e-mail,and play the latest games.Can somebody pick the right parts out for me?

Can i build a decent computer for lets say around 800$

Yep you can, do you need an OS, speakers, mouse, keyboard and monitor in that budget as well though?
