Jamie (or anyone else), which of these cards should I get?

I was certain that I was going to order the evga 8800GT, especially now that it's down to $250 at NewEgg. I keep reading all these posts from Jamie saying that the new 8800GTS is only $30 more than the GT. But according to what I find on NewEgg, it's $90 more (or currently $70 more with the $20 rebate). Is the GTS really worth that big of a price jump? Or is the GT for $250 the overall better choice? Thanks!

The card you chose (GT) was $279.99 about a week ago so technically i was right when i said the GTS was $30 more considering you can get them for about $300.

Anyways, if you can afford the extra $70 i would say go for it, if you can't its not a big deal really, the cards are pretty similar in terms of performance.
