THis is my second build and trying to keep things simple. Just wanted to check with some of the experts here about any pitfalls I might be about to fall into.
Motherboard:
ASUS P5K-VM LGA 775 Intel G33
cpu:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe
psu:
SeaSonic S12 II SS-380GB ATX12V 380W
memory:
Kingston ValueRAM 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
hard drive:
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
optical drive:
Lite-On 20x LH-20A1S dvd burner
case:
Antec NSK6580 or COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW
cpu cooler:
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler
Also, I think I should get some extra SATA cables just in case. What's the deal with SATA and SATAII? I heard SATAII is a misnomer so should I just get a SATA cable. What brand and are all compatable with 3.0gb/sec transfer?
