OK, I've decided to go with the 8800GT. I've narrowed it down to an eVGA card, but I'm not sure which of these to get. These cards on Newegg are virtually identical from what I can tell, but have slightly different model numners. The only difference I can see is the A1 card comes with a game and the AR card does not. Am I missing something?

Also, I compared the AR card to another AR with slightly improved settings on the eVGA website.

802-AR http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=512-P3-N802-AR

The only differences I can see are in GPU speed (700 mhz VS 650 mhz) and RAM speed (2000 mhz VS 1900 mhz). Also, the more expensive SSC card is out of stock everywhere. Are the slight differences enough to recommend the $20 (or more) price jump as well as the waiting and hunting to find the SSC version in stock?

The only difference between the AR and the A1, is that one comes with a game and the other doesn't.

The two you linked to on evga are the same, except one is overclocked a little more than the other.

I would recommend the 8800GT 512mb "vanilla" as it is the best "bang for the buck".

A better gpu, but a good bit more expensive is the 8800GTS 512mb.

And yes, by all means, stay with the evga brand. The step-up program is unbeatable.
